Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 5, 2026

DrivX (“DrivX,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website at drivx.io and the associated software-as-a-service platform (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), password hash, and any profile photo you upload.

Operational data. Information you enter into the platform — including drivers, vehicles, contracts, payments, maintenance records, partner relationships, and uploaded documents — is stored on your behalf so we can deliver the Service.

Payment information. Subscription billing is processed by our payment provider. We store only billing metadata (e.g. customer ID, plan, status); we do not store full payment card numbers.

Usage and device data. We log technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Cookies. We use first-party cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Authenticate users and protect against fraud and abuse.
  • Send transactional messages (password resets, billing notices, security alerts).
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about your account.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Service providers (cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, error monitoring) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal compliance when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case continued protection of your information will be a condition of the transfer.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and operational data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport (TLS), hashed passwords, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights from within the Service or by emailing privacy@drivx.io. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

7. International Transfers

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from another country, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice. The “Last updated” date above indicates when the current version took effect.
